Limited access or No Connectivity

When working continuously on internet connection for a long time, suddenly you get an error in network connection reading “Limited access or No Connectivity”. Component called TCP / IP is responsible for it.

TCP / IP gets corrupted and as a result you cannot access Internet connection from your system. To solve the issue, What I usually do is right click on network in tray icon set and troubleshoot.

Troubleshoot detects a problem (which is more often related to TCP/IP), Resets Wireless adapter (general solution) then verifies whether problem is solved followed by detection of additional problems.

When you know that problem can be fixed by resetting then use Reset & Repair TCP/IP, a small program which fixes everything in one click. It is a portable program, execute it and click on Reinstall/Reset to apply the fix.

For efficiency of this solution I recommend checking the boxes that says “Also repair WinSock” and “Restart after reset” so that WinSock repair and restart the computer at the end and get a new IP address on the local network.

The application works well with Windows XP, 2003, Vista and Windows 7, no installation required, just download it and run it.
